Hi! I'm Kim Morehead. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from Mary Baldwin College in 2001, and started my career at a small marketing firm in Maryland before relocating to Florida in 2004. Fast-foward a few years, and I'm now working full-time as a digital content producer and print designer for Disney Parks and Resorts.
In addition to my full-time responsibilities I have 17 years' experience helping small businesses with their creative needs, ranging from logos and branding to web design, digital event support, video production, product design, and much more.
For me, Graphic Design is about more than making something look pretty. It's about listening to people's needs, strategic thinking, and finding effective long-term solutions. My philosophy is, there is no such thing as too much information—the more detail a client gives me up front, the more successful we will be in the long run. If you can make me understand your business, then I can translate that visually into something your target audience will understand.
I currently reside in Florida with my dog Barney, and a suitcase that's always packed for my next adventure!
"What I feel fortunate about is that I’m still astonished, that things still amaze me. And I think that that’s the great benefit of being in the arts, where the possibility for learning never disappears, where you basically have to admit you never learn it.” —Milton Glaser
